Annual Fund

The Fulton School is a non-profit organization that depends on the donations and philanthropic good will of the community. Fulton works to keep its tuition as low as possible in order to allow more families the opportunity to be a part of the school community.  School tuition covers only about 75% of the cost of educating each student. In order to provide the remainder of the cost, an Annual Fund Drive is begun in September of each year, soliciting additional tax-deductible contributions from parents and school supporters. Though the amount of the contribution is up to the discretion of each giver, all parents are asked to give as generously as possible.

Many businesses offer matching grants for contributions made by their employees to non-profit groups. Contributors are encouraged to ask their human resource directors at the place of their employment if such opportunities exist from their employers.

Spring Gala

Each year the PAT sponsors a gala and auction to help supply additional funding for the school. Parents volunteer to help plan and implement all aspects of this event. This is the major fund-raising event of the year and, along with the Annual Fund, provides the school with its greatest source of additional income. The funds provide the school with the resources needed to hire the most highly qualified teachers and staff members, purchase equipment upgrades, supply teaching aids, as well as funding for general needs.

Grants

Grants:The Fulton School applies for foundation grants to supplement its financial resources. These grants provide substantial funding for major projects, such as capital improvements and large classroom projects. Strong parent participation and support is critical to the school’s financial success.
